History of our Pastor

          Preacher was born August 31, 1981 in Somerset, KY. At the young age of 12 he was saved and baptized at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. After graduation from Pulaski Co. High school in 2000, Bro. Tucker went on to attend Somerset Community College in which he received an Associate of Science degree in Aviation. While there, he was called to preach at the age of 21. He then went on to attend Commonwealth Baptist College ( under the leadership of Dr. Jeffrey Fugate in Lexington, KY). There he met and married his wife Tracey Moore of Harlan KY in 2004. After graduating in 2007, He and Tracey left Lexington to start Gospel Light Baptist Church in the heart of Somerset, KY (his hometown). Since the start of the church in 2007, they have had a high day in attendance of 183 and have been privileged to see over 200 salvations and over 100 baptisms. Under the leadership of Pastor Tucker, Gospel Light plans to continue running buses and seeking lost souls for Christ until the Lord returns.
